Yes. We contact Catholic churches and religious communities along the route to request Mass around the group’s schedule. Final arrangements depend on clergy, parish and liturgical-calendar availability.
Most first pilgrimages include the Twenty-Six Martyrs, Ōura Cathedral, Urakami Cathedral and St. Maximilian Kolbe sites in Nagasaki, plus Our Lady of Akita. Longer routes can add Shimabara, Amakusa, Tsuwano, Yamaguchi and Kagoshima.
